hey, any1 heard anything about numantian's next game? could it be TAB2?

According to some of the developers' previous posts, it should be Lords of Xulima 2, but given they made far more money off of TAB, it seems unlikely at this point.

yeah TAB 2 would make more sense from a financials standpoint. that said it is a young studio so anything can happen.

Considering we're starting to see TAB-like games like Conan and AoD being released, Numantian would be foolish to not develop another game like it. OBVIOUSLY, the hunger is there for more. Just create a good city builder game and set it in a big fun sandbox where you can just produce military and kill everything. Or let it kill you if you suck, or set that difficulty a smidge too high in a fit of overconfidence.

they should expand on the mechanics of the first game maybe with logistic routes between buildings that decide how fast you will collect and process resources and with more types of units.

the makers of AOD tried to copy this game allmost 1 to 1 but you can see that they left out the depht of placing your buildings thats the part that needs to be improved in order to push the genre.

Spam placement needs to be discouraged with in deptht mechanics that encourage building housing, industrial, farm and maybe military areas.

I'm sure the community moderator here said not long ago they are working every day on something. But its been years since a proper update so who knows. Better to expect nothing and hopefully be pleasantly surprised :)

Hoping they finally go back to their roots with LOX2. Been a very, very, very long time since any news. Then again, they could just follow the money (they do have to eat) and make another zombie thing.
