Any tips for the Peaceful Lowlands?

The map is a bit different than the first one since there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of doom villages and not a lot of chokepoints. Any tips on expanding? My 1st failthrough had me stalling on killing villages while expanding.

What percent? Expand away from the VoD until you have enough snipers to handle them.

I like to keep it vanilla so the standard 120%. 100 days and Medium Pop.

Yup expand away from Vod wall off your base as needed. I found map 2 the easiest of the 4 once you get the snipers out for Vod clearing.

Do you guys build multiple barracks or just have 1?

I would try 120 days brutal or medium population. Expand away from the villages and don't get too close to them with your defenses. Taking them on too early stops you from building up the economy and the army you need to defend and to take them out. Plus, with all that open space, make sure to make a good housing district. Day 68 on 120 brutal I have 8 barracks 1 engineering.

I have at least 2 barracks (2nd is built once I regularly overrun my sniper queue), and usually just 2 engineering centers spamming thanatos. Playing medium/120 at the minute

I like 2 soldier centers for snipers, not using any advanced troops. All maps on 80 days as more than that is just a bunch of sitting around building walls.
