"Lurchy frame-rate"

I just came back to this game after about a month and when I got to the main menu, the background animation was a little choppy. I started up the game and similarly, the game now alternates between 60 fps and what looks like 1 fps every three quarters of a second or so units look as though they are making short teleports as they move. My hardware has not changed and I've even lowered the video setting from highest to lowest with no apparent change. i also tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and still no change. I did not find anything about this issue here on the steam discussions. is this a known issue, and is there anything I can do about it?

Are you seeing "Hitching" or "stuttering?" At all times, no matter how many zombies/buildings whatever are on screen?

You might wanna update or rollback your GPU drivers, if you think it's hitching.

I suggest what @Kiroshi said. Update your GPU drivers and check your pc config.

Anyway I would like to remember that there is a specific part of the forum made for bug reporting.
