Game Lags

Okay first time playing this and its super laggy. or frames are skipping a lot.

I'm playing survival. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Well first you dint post anything about your comp and settings thats kinda a big thing when talking about game lag.

2nd game lag would be a bug assuming you have a comp that is not trash/not playing on high settings and as such your in the wrong part of the fourm bug reports will be the best place to post where the mods can help you.

3rd super laggy dosent really say much to some people "super laggy" means there running at 120 fps and have 0.01 ms delay. While "skipping frames a lot" to them is missing 1 frame every 20 days. since its not perfect it must be super bad. Exact numbers help a lot what fps are you getting and what kinda delay are you seeing. how much is it skipping.

4th Do you have stuff running in the background/how ♥♥♥♥ is your comp normally to other games.

Its always key to give as mcuh info as possible when asking for help.

Okay I play high end games on my computer so there shouldn't be a performance issue on my end. Unless Steam installed incorrectly. Games that came out this year and last year run fine.

My brother has a older computer and runs this game just fine.
I've also been reading recent discussions on the game. It seems to have a studdering problem right now with the newest version of the game.

No idea what my fps is. I don't know how to display it while running this game. I haven't messed with any settings yet. Just ran the game by default settings.

The studdering seems to get progressively worse the longer I play. I only played for about 10 minutes and it became unplayable. I could not lasso units. The lasso would miss when I tried to select the unit even though the mouse cursor was on the top left of the screen just right above the unit.
Units seem to studder step. Its fine when I launch the game. but after about 2 minutes it starts to show some performance issue.
The map also has some delays and the scrolling around the map isn't smooth. Nor is scrolling on the mini map.

As said post in bug reports. As for a studdering issue if that is the case I seen a thread on it earlier today of someone having the same problem. Think gomez's answer was the problem was already patched and just reqs a steam reset. So might want to try after a reset to see if it was the same issue.

Otherwise likely something the mods will need to help you with as so many diff pc confiqs. Donno if a known issue but looking in the bug reports will tell you if others have the same issue witch is the reason to keep the reports in the same area so multi people can be helped at the same time.

Have you restarted your Steam app?

There have been a problem in the update and now it already fixed. Check it please.

Two years later and this still hasn't been fixed? Geez!

I'm running an i7-6850 3.6Ghz, 32GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1070 and the intro vids even lag for me. Everything lags. Clicking lags. Scrolling lags. The whole effing game lags.

Probably you are not suffer the same issue than the maker of the thread. Could you explain better what is happening? Have you checked the game with different graphic configurations? Have you checked if your gpu drivers are fully updated? Have you checked if your gpu software has applied any kind of graphic configuration?
