End game - Executor or shock tower (close range)

as title says. closest tower to the wall. If i have the opportunity to put two up, do i set both shock or 1 shock 1 exec better? my gut is saying shock

really i would say it only works having a shock if you have something else next to it or snipers they get taken down by spitters and harpys on there own fast

Both, and a thanatos or two for good measure if you can. Also, make sure you set the balista/exec to "highest level" enemies

You want shocking towers on the same line if you can, so executor and snipers can take out the spitters. Otherwise shocking towers get ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Have you tried neither? The real power is not in those 2 towers , 2-3 ballista + ~4 snipers per choke are nore than enough for the special infected while thanatos take care of the rest .
This way is cheaper and you force is mobile and capable of either retreating behind new walls or responding to another side's aid.

Personally, at the current meta i prefer snipers. I got 50-60 snipers in my last run (2nd map, Brutal Pop, 100 days) and was able to hold the north and the west with only 4 execs and the snipers. Just put them in Stone Towers for the extra range.
