TAB is asymetrical:player and computer play with 2 completely different rulesets.
Ps playing the tau faction is torture since they dont have turrets and you really need those to lighten the weight of being invaded by an enemy.
humans vs mutants

Starcraft 2 - is one the most famousd asymmeterical RTS around.
Company of Heroes 2 - Has a lot more mechanics than the first in the franchise
Divinity Original Sin 2 - Not an RTS but great strategy game, I saw you own the first.
Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion ( Newest one ) - really great RTS that deals with massive fleets.
Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2 - Similar to Sins but you deal with very small team.
( The 3rd one is trash )
Endless Legend - Very atypical stratgey game. Has a lot of great ideas implemented such as seasons and special events. Very few units per race though - but you are more busy with deciding how to win than fighting.
Total War : Warhammer 2 - again a fantastic game dealing with massive army battles.
A bit older but very asymetrical.
And a sequel is currently being made.
Op try these guys
Majesty
Starwars battlegrounds
Tzar burden of the crown
Homeworld
Mount and blade
Alpha centauri
Also mentioned, command and conquer / total war
They are good games that will scratch the rts / strategy itch.
Most of these can be found on either steam or gog, I would recommend both checking gog first as well as their rts section, just because they are drm free and that makes playing games solo / offline easier, also some of these are a bit older, so gog is better at finding those type of games.
Not to knock steam of course, cause steam, but ya sound like you want a single player strategy game to munch on :D.
- cheers
SC2 is free to grab now and Empire Builder 2 still sees a decent amount of play.
