Tab doesn't do anything, can't rotate gates

I've tried rotating them before I build them, after I build them, I've tried every key on my keyboard... There's no actual keybind for 'rotate' in the menu either. =/

No idea but in the slightest chance this help , make sure you did not keybind it to something else?(replied before you second post , didnt even know there wasnt the option for keybind)

How do I fix the Tab key on my keyboard?
Fix 3: Try keyboard combinations
Press the Alt key twice, then see if the Tab key restarts to work.
Press and hold the Alt key, then press the 0, 0, and 9 number keys on your keyboard, and release the keys.
Press the Ctrl key twice, and try Tab to see if it works.

Never mind... "Show/Hide Interface" doubles as the rotate keybind, so if you removed that then you need to re-bind it.
