Uninstalling the game

I love this game but something happend to it since v 1.0 so it's basically unplayable. 80% of all games it crash freeze between day 2-5 before the first autosave. I've seen others adress the issue in the forum long back but no fix seems possible. Devs have requested logs in other threads but the log doesn't give any info. A real shame on such a good game!

Havent had any issues whatsoever. Have you thought of the possibility of something on your end?

Yeah sure, probably something on my end but I don't have any issues with other games so the question is what could it be in this case. And the problem started since the full version was released (or around that time at least) so it has been working earlier. I'm not the only one having the issue so I believe more people would be happy if they could find the cause and fix the issue.

I would just wait a while and see if they fix it. I know it sucks but we cant do anything to help you, and this information isnt that useful to us either.

It’s their game. I don’t have the issue but compatibility issues w certain hardware do exist. I hope they fix it for you all

I have tried moving the game to my SSD drive now, we'll see what that does.

I suggest, in order:

Reinstall the game
Plug into outlet if on laptop.
Install newer/older GRFX driver
Eliminate any unnecessary factors (remove multi-mon, extra peripherals)
Try different compatibility modes for the executable
Disable any overclocks
Update other drivers and BIOS firmware

Same issue here! Game simply freezes with any error. Windows logs as well as the game's log do not offer any information. The first states 'Application crash, unknown' and the latter doesn't show an error at all.

Having crazy freeses to, no crash tho. And since I am playing this game as only game on my laptop I didnt think of reporting it since I assumed it was the laptop. That being said it makes sence now it is the game since the laptop is quite a gameplayer.

I moved the game files to my primary disk (SSD) and changed the config file value "Monitors" to "2" since I use 2 monitors. I haven't had any crash freeze yet. Been playing 5-6 games.

ive been playing this game on a basic hdd for 102 hours and havent had any problems

McAfee was the problem for me. I allowed McAfee RTS to exclude Billions app from real time scan and I haven't had a problem since.
