The Oasis - Farmville with 1.100 Soldiers (Apocalypse mode)
I had fun doing the Cape Storm with only soldiers, so i decided to push this as much as possible and see how many troops I can reach before the final wave.

This time, it's on the map 'The Oasis', also known as one of the Farmville maps.
I managed to reach around 1.1k veteran soldiers before the final wave.
Why do these maps exist? I don't know, but here we go:

At around Day 40 and ~1k Soldiers I focus more on buying stone and walling around the base.

Haha very impressive!

I'm undecided as to whether to focus on soldiers again like I did on my Challenging run through. I'm really not sure how to get past the runner infected swarms, there are just so many infected!

I did make good use of the Academy of Immortals. It's just a shame that the veterancy tech before it is kinda obsolete by virtue of getting it ><

Yeah the first runner swarm is the hardest to do with just soldiers and it just so happens that the top path is the easiest after that swarm for gathering tech and empire points.
The devs shouldn't make the FIRST swarm mission so hard. It's out of place.

You need a lot of micro and spam pause for that mission or alternatively you can try doing it with wasps or lucifers.

Regardless of build, focus on getting the stone/iron train as soon as you can after that.

This absolute madlad has actually made an army of one man (unit)

I tried it with Wasps but they failed miserably. They really don't seem all that strong in horde defence situations despite all the praise they're getting for it ><

Trying Coast of Bones and the second horde almost wasted me... no soldiers is really hurting.

The downside of wasps - they have no regen, you can't move them. You can also cram more soldiers in the same space.
I don't think wasps only is a viable defense.

Looks like there is a Steam limit for screenshot thumbnails per post (10?) so here are the rest:

Well done!
