Please let us disable double clicking to select all unit!
I just lost a a great colony, because I accidently double click a sniper, and suddenly the three snipers that was guarding the wall towards a doom town was unguarded for a few seconds.

I just can't deal with that anymore. Loosing a colony you have worked for 4 hours just because a silly mistake. Yes I should probably have ballista, but I planned to move up 20 sniper to take it out before moving the wall up.

Edit: I did end up saving the colony, by demolishing a lot of houses, so and build a new wall before backup, and lucky me sniper was walking past. But damn did I lose another bunch of Rangers, and my sniper was all over the place, a bunch of walls unprotected. I need to play the game more zoomed in, so the double clicking doesn't effect 90% of all my snipers.

From older RTS games, I expect double clicking to select all units of a particular type that are visible on the screen at the time. I too, have told every unit in the game to do something I did not want them to do. I AGREE!!!!!

Thats weird, I double click when I actually want all snipers on the map to listen and they sometimes do, but often don't.

You can circumvent this by putting defense snipers in towers. But yes, this is still an issue. I recall other RTS games having a different command to select all units of the same type on the map (ctrl + click iirc?) and that should 100% be implented in TAB as well.

+1 for the put those units you don't intend to use into towers. It isn't always 100% viable but it can reduce your headache. It isn't viable all the time because it cost gold and wood, and for me, I sometimes use very long patrol paths in order to get good coverage at the right price, so I have to be careful when selecting rangers which I usually have doing the patrol job.

The nice thing about having, say, your snipers dedicated to defense in towers, is that you can zsoom out and drag-select over your colony in order to find any stragglers.

Oh right, another way around this is to put the units you want to move in a control group. Select the group of units, then press ctrl + a number.

I zoom out and Click+drag usually so i've never encountered this. But, i have had certain mouse bugs (like single click being treated as double or not registering at all unless double click) that being able to disable this would be handy.

Hello!

There is a specific part of the forum in which you can give your ideas or suggestions to improve the game.

Thanks.

Regards.
