2 mouse over tower,
2 right click on tower.
That always work for me.. Either you're not using the right mouse button or something is very different with your controls compared to mine
Edit: I noticed now you said watch tower.. I never built them as I thought they are only there to provide vision. So I guess they can't be manned.
The Wood/Stone Tower under the Defense tab can hold up to 4 units, and increases their attack range and line of sight by 2/3.
The Lookout Tower under Military provides vision in a large radius, but does not have an attack or space for a garrison. It exists purely to provide vision of distant areas. The same is true of the Radar Tower, which it upgrades to.
Thank you. I did misspeak saying watch tower. I am having trouble placing soldiers/rangers in the "wood towers" under the defense tab.
