How do you place soldiers in watch towers?
When I try to move a soldier or ranger into a watch tower nothing happens. I first highlight the soldier/ranger I want move, then mouse over the tower. My mouse changes to a white flag icon as if I'm doing something kinda right. But when I click on the tower nothing happens. Nobody moves. Noob down!

That always work for me.. Either you're not using the right mouse button or something is very different with your controls compared to mine

Edit: I noticed now you said watch tower.. I never built them as I thought they are only there to provide vision. So I guess they can't be manned.

I had the same experience. I think watch towers are broken.

What tower are we talking about?

The Wood/Stone Tower under the Defense tab can hold up to 4 units, and increases their attack range and line of sight by 2/3.

The Lookout Tower under Military provides vision in a large radius, but does not have an attack or space for a garrison. It exists purely to provide vision of distant areas. The same is true of the Radar Tower, which it upgrades to.

Thank you. I did misspeak saying watch tower. I am having trouble placing soldiers/rangers in the "wood towers" under the defense tab.

Thank you. Worked precisely as you stated!

Note that when removing them from a tower their movement becomes Left Click, this includes putting them directly into another tower
