Advice for housing

started playing and i noticed in 3 of my attempted playthroughs i ran out of space really quickly for housing due to my hunting shacks needing space or else they lose food production, any advice for house placement?, im guessing i probably need to expand quicker?

Place a market and look at the zone it affects try and plan only housing in that space. Upgrade homes as you can afford it. To beat final wave on 100% or more you will need minimum 2 housing districts but 3 is better. Expand like mad. I clear and expand after every wave until you own the map. I Think day 70-75 is a good goal for map cleared on a 100 day play through.

Can't prioritize hunting shacks in good housing areas. Farms, however, is a different story.

Place your hunting shacks along forest edges, and rely on fishing and farming. Hunting is really just to get you by, and potentially squeeze out some microscoping yields from otherwise useless spots.

yea this picture has given me a good idea of what i need to do, im relying way to much on hunting shacks.

as soon as i tried rushing farms my food situation improved so much quicker
