Since we are in Beta, we shall see if the Dev can fix this.
what steps did you follow?
It can happen when windows crashes that it won't boot anymore because it was in the middle of something important.
Thanks for the warning but Those are rare events but can happen.
Do you have the stop error message (blue screen with text in it)?
as time and years go on the manufacturer considers the product "dead" and "obsolete" so therefor has stopped updating the drivers.
as new OS and patches and updates comes out to the OS the drivers sometimes become "unstable" (meaning they aren't programmed well and cause instability in the operating system)
This is really hard to diagnose and almost impossible.
People should start considering it when upgrading their computer:
Yes you can install more ram and install windows 10 on your old pc
Yes it will run
But for technical people: do take into account that the drivers are old, not updated and sometimes weren't meant or tested with this new OS.
This could lead to instability as I said.
I will only end with: there are new graphic cards in various price range, but do try to make sure that you buy one from the latest family that came out and not a card that came out 3 years ago and the store wants to get rid of.
This is too technical for most people but perhaps some gamers will understand.
I'm running:
i7 6700k
32GB's DDR4 3000mhz RAM
EVGA GTX 1080
EVGA 1000w PSU
And around 8TB's of HDD and SSD space.
Plus a triple monitor setup, all three are 144hz ;)
And on the same topic, a windowed 4k screen doesn't align well...
