Those "hot water" spots are indeed oil spots. You could collect it via special building in the last tier of buildings. Also you can simply spend a ton of gold a buy it in market building :)

Ya i thought it was those but couldnt find a building in the list to collect it, market sounds like a good idea, thanks man.

research the oil platform in the foundry. Buying it is pretty counterproductive, it is too expesive

Oil is needs for advanced buildings, but if your not usign it sell it off to getgold back. It's the most valuable resource to sell. and just make sure if your not suign resources your selling them unless your cofferes are already full.

It is also used for the tier 3 units lucifer and titan.

2x markets and 5 oil sells for 54 (1 market = 40), the oil well takes up 80 gold in upkeep per well. unless your building tons of lucifers or somehow are producing titans fast enough its pretty pointless to have more than one. also the cost of building one could be many things. 2 balista/ 1 executioner

Yeha the advanced quarrys are pretty brutal on upkeep
price as well.
