Metamorphosis Side-Quest Bug

So the end of the side-quest, a Technogenesis appears and upon death, it drops an audio log. However, when I was fighting it, it rolled off the platform and into the small pond outside the medbay at Gideon's Rock. I can't grab it no matter what I do, and can't complete the sidequest.

I realize this is a highly specific bug so I'm not expecting an immediate fix (if any at all lol), but it's just something I wanted to point out.
