Stuck inside the hangar at Gutenberg's laboratory

I went to the hangar at the CREO facility (where you can hear Prisoner by Stumfol), but I can't continue because I can't destroy nanite walls yet, and I can't seem to go back to the underground. Am I missing something or am I really stuck?

Okay I figured it out. I had to go up the stairsin the laboratory, and interact with the thing in the middle which gave me the ability to absorb the nano walls.
