How "Medi-Voltaic Injection" works??
Hi all,

I use several implant, including: "Medi-Voltaic Injection" and "Automatic Inject-Charger".
Sometimes, when I want to heal my self, I had to hit key several time before implant will heal me.
I use only one injectable implant so there is no way I'm hitting wrong key.
And implant is storing 3 charges.

I observe it when I fight with Delver, I mean I use it a lot of.

Does "Medi-Voltaic Injection" implant have some other limitation??

Medi-Voltaic has a brief delay before the healing takes effect. It also has a short cooldown after use and may take some time to replenish. I'm not sure yet if there's a delay when switching implants, but there is a delay if you try to use multiple implants in quick succession.
You might just be hitting the button a little harder than you realize and it mistakes it for charge storing. If you're already at 3, it does nothing. I've definately noticed in the heat of battle that I've accidently stored when I wanted to use.

Also as mentioned there's a short delay, but you should see the charge number lower immediately.
Time between 1st and 2nd usage is about 5-10 sec.
So, it might be because of some cooldown time, I thought it would be animated in somehow, i.e. icon's color.

Regarding to short/long key hit, I think it is not a cause, because I changed key mapping for the fight. Implant use is under right mouse button and I definitely do click, not holds.
Now I have noticed that when cooldown was in progress I was trying to hit button harder.
I mean I was pushing it little longer.
So, you both are right.

Thank for help :D
Medi-Voltaic Injection requires 1 Full Battery charge to use, unless it has Pre-Charges. Battery is your blue energy meter, it is divided into 3 sections, each of those is one "battery", you gain those as you attack enemies. If it your Medi-Voltaic Injection has no number next to it, it has no Pre-Charges and it will use your Energy (Blue) meter to heal you.

The key you press to use your Medi-Voltaic Injection actually has two functions.

The First Function: If you press that key and let go quickly, it will either use a Pre-Charge to heal your or use a Battery to heal you if you have no Pre-Charges. If you don't have Pre-Charges and you don't have Battery, it cannot heal you until you have Battery. If you are at full health, it will try to use a Battery to fill one Pre-Charge for you. This is good because Pre-Charges last until you use them but Batteries run out if you don't use them or if you aren't fighting.

The Second Function: If you -Hold- the key, it will try to use a Battery to give 1 you Pre-Charge.
If you don't have any Battery, then it won't work. Holding the key down will never heal you - holding the key down is only for turning Battery into Pre-Charges.

Also, if your use a finishing move to dismember an enemy, that costs 1 Battery. You generate lots of Batteries when fighting, but if you do a bunch of Dismemberments and then get hit a lot, you might not have enough Batteries left to heal yourself right when you need it.

Medi-Voltaic has a brief delay before it begins healing you, and its healing happens over about 2 seconds or so. During that time, especially if you are low on health, an enemy can hit you, even for a small amount, and kill you if you aren't careful, before the heal has enough time to bring your health up. You are very likely to die if you use the implant with only a little HP left and enemy hits you right after you use it.
I discovered why I can't heal.
You can't heal while running.
