WTF is this Delver Bossfight
Why made they a Boss like this, it dosnt make fun at all fighting him aber its way harder then all before.

I know you can kill him with parry/block/conter him but the Controls to do this are just bad and i cant get it down.

The Boss woud be Way more doable when you had more Items to heal, in The Surge you coud choose how many Heal and what Type of Heal you want to take. But here in The Surge 2 you just have this Energie-Heal and thats it, i dont know why they woud do that.

but isnt good idea write all your frustration from boss on Steam forum ;-) and blame whole world from your fail..
really..

i realy dont wanna blame anyone for my fails with that boss, i just that i realy like The Surge and The Surge 2 (and a few other Souls Like). I was so hyped for the 24.09 to play The Surge 2 and i have so much Fun doing it, but then there is is Boss (with 3 health bars and 3 phases) i cant beat and this makes me mad.

I cant realy play good with the Energie-Heal system and i dont realy have enough Stamina to fight like i woud want to. I know it all comes down to the Skill of the Player and i know the Boss isnt unbeatable, its just that i know my Skill isnt that Bad but i cant get further then Phase 2 with low life.
if your skill isnt low, then u need only more try and learn better boss pattern
i think.. its better, when that boss is harder and u have issue to beat him, no?

btw: are you really frustrated from difficulty in souls-like game? ;-) pls.. its part of gameplay, here isnt any reason for this QQ here.. no offense

grab a drink, chill and then try it again..
its nice, when u can play really good with.. anything, but now u need adapt, when u dont have that mechanic here. and when u have small stamina pool, use build what improve that by lowering "price" for dodge / anything..

i dont wish say that.. but.. Souls-like games are everytime about "git gud" - learn, adapt, profit

anyway good luck

why complaining about?

the surge isnt about better doable enemies. Deal with it, try again, get better, and beat him...

no one can be proud about something accomplished if it is easy.

besides is your post born by frustration and not a good way if critics. and its sad that this is the most common thing in the internet.

I think the enrgy heal system is actually easier/better than wasting lots of implant slots on health stims like in The Surge1, plus with the right implants, you'd never run out of energy for health

but I do agree that the parry system is horrible, it just won't click with me being a button+stick direction combo

actually its great system (parrying)
+ after sucesfull parry u get your stam back
(but u dont need use parry at all)

about heal..
u can precharge your heal.. even here is implant for automatic heal and automatic charge, etc
make build what fit to you

I know that Souls Like Games like The Surge are about getting better and lerning to fight the Enemys, but if its not only my Skill (up to this Point i had no Problems to beat the Enemys, a few like litte Jonny took some trys and i played The Surge ng+++ so i dont think its only my Skill)and also a bad Healing Mechanic where you only have Energie-Heals, then i see a Reason to complain.

And yeah you are right, i am a litte bit mad right now, because i have fun playing this Game and i like a Challenge but this Boss dosnt make Fun at all.

Maybe you are right about the Heal system, but i like it when i have a set amount of heals i can use (like The Surge or Dark Souls....) when i need them.

You have various ways to deal with it. The healing can be helped with upgrading your implant as far as possible and choosing weapons with high energy gain, possibly an implant that supports energy gain. If you have trouble surviving, swap to heavy gear. I facetanked the guy most of the time, and dodged the other. The last phase drags on forever - just stay away until he slides towards you, move out of the way, then retaliate. Once he gets up, you can still get one to three hits in, then back away as far as possible and circle the outside of the arena. You can't really lose when you do it like this unless you get greedy. If in doubt, don't hit him and back away.

Right now i am using the JAG-22 Aeterna Weapon and the AID Nightfall Set on MK 4 (2 Part are on MK 5 as well). What can i change?, i dont realy mind farming to updrade other gear or for Scrap to upgrade.

What Implants do you recommend for me to use?, i should have all of the Implants i cant get to this Point of the Game.

People have found two ways to fight the delver. Use parry system, but it takes a while to learn it well enough against the delver, it is a pain in the ass to fight. Or you can build as a tank which still requires skill, but basically, you dodge most of the attacks and then do a charge attack during very brief moments.

Either method works, but requires practice to do it right. Delver is definitely one of the most unusual fights at that point in the game, and the three phase aspect makes it the longest fight so far even if you fight perfectly.

Take a break from the game, come back when you're less tilted. Worked for me. I was frustrated, went to sleep, came back some hours afterward, and managed to parry nearly every single attack. Piece of cake.

I made a rant post yesterday about this exact boss too, but I deleted it since then (and I also managed to defeat the boss). Yes, it's such a badly designed and overwpored boss that it almost managed to ruin the entire game for me, so I can understand your feelings.

You are right, it is realy better when a Boss is to hard then when he is to easy.

I guess its more that i am mad about myself not the Game and that i am not able to beat the Boss even though my Skill is good enough. You realy helped me with that thx mate.

I will try to, by the start of the Game i wasnt used to Heal like this at all, now its getting better but i think i still need more time to lern play good with that.

Dont worry, i know its all about git gud. I will try it again and again and again and maybe be able to kill him one time and thx for the good luck, i think i need that at this Boss :).

Practice parrying on the statues. Go fight other enemies. Stop thinking about the boss, it'll just make things worse.
