PC graphics worse than ps4 !?
I just saw someone playing the surge 2 on ps4 and streaming it on twitch. And the stream looked 10 times better than my game with everything on ultra. Is the PC version so bad optimized that even the ps4 version looks better ...... ?

Ya I know I know, but the resolution and some things looks weird and kinda worse, maybe something is bugged or something else with the graphic settings on the PC version

Turn off any resolution scaling and also, make sure Volumetric Lighting is set to low. For some reason turning it up only adds an ugly haze to the world, setting it to low makes it clearer and sharper overall.

I have to try that. I don't like the lighting since the beta, never tried to lower that setting, always thought it's bloom or something.

Yeah, the lighting in this game is weird, I tried messing with bloom as well and then I saw another post somewhere and the guy said he lowered the volumetric and so far that was the best option for me, otherwise it looks terrible. I think the first game had much better lighting overall.

I will try with the volumetric lighting. And one of the last options these chromatic stuff. Without it it looks also better

first game was not so much about better lightning, but it didnt had this colored fog everywhere, which feels here and there like it would add grain to the game... but yes i prefer the clean look of surge 1 too, sadly there is no "turn fog off" button >.<
