Best Weapon so far?

I got the twin-rigged nano blades, man..is that so much better having the weapons I know and love from the Surge 1. All I need now is a tasty Codename:Engalheart (Egglebert? Aengelhurt? Egnalafurt??) and my space man suit and ill be laughing all the way to the scrap bank :D

Single Rig for life best looking and best overal damage in my opinion its like a axe medium based damage and good speeds :)

I've just got up to the nightclub and so far I'm switching between Warren's chainsaw thing and some staff I got at the beginning of the game. The staff is really good for poking at enemies while staying away from them. Warren's weapon requires me to get in closer but it has a really great close-range moveset that does a lot of damage.

in surge 1 i got the pretty staff from the guard at start (mg negotiator) and used it the whole game...

now in the surge 2, you have this weapon again, but spears so much better than staves, so i got the spear from the church guy at the start (brother trumans faith, which is the same like the fanatical excruciator, which you get way later on) and used it the whole game..

its fast, it have range and the best: it have electro to stun enemies
on top its a spear, spears have best movesets in my opinion and the combo with the 5 attacks in row = heal implant (kineto-plasmic shunt) with the strong attack+spam light attack its like shredding enemies and get healed too

my setup was all around max stamina, for long attack combos and sprinting, you run a lot so why not, and a little bit of better dodge (can contain spoiler, because those gear screens are from before the endboss): https://steamcommunity.com/id/Kamuel/screenshots/?appid=644830

Twin Nano is great, also love the Scythe, it's a great staff weapon and does lots of damage. I just got a weapon that kinda looks like the Soul Edge from Soul Calibur, it can split in 2 pieces when you attack fast, haven't upgraded it yet but it hits fast.

My mind. It lets me play the game and use all the weapons in it. How can there be a best weapon when your mind makes them all incredibly effective? Brother Truman’s Faith, I guess. But there isn’t one I can’t make the murder with thanks to the most powerful weapon of all.

I'm still very early in the game, but the Bootleg Splitcleaver (Double-Duty Axehammer) I got from the miniboss on the bridge hits my happy place. It perfectly answered my wish of having a heavy weapon with the speed of a one hander when I need it..

Not one person in this thread using the new hammer class weapons? Couldn't bring myself to use any other weapon class when found the AoE set bonus on the Rhino armour. They're a perfect match.

BTW, anyone know if it's possible to get a v2.0 of Hammer of Forced Converion? That'd be just perfect.

Nah. I've also been preferring the hammer as my main weapon type. However, I've been using a mixed Rhino / Eclipse set when I use a hammer. If I use something else (like Heavy Duty), I change loadouts to pure Rhino or something that matches the weapon.

Yeah, that's a pretty good setup. I'd use that too if spamming the hammer's running attack -> R2 with the AoE set bonus wasn't so fun.

Been using the single rig you get from the first mini boss in the prison. It's a bit slow but the impact damage is real.

Warrens weapon is really good imo, fast with high energy gain and it's strong

General's 2.0 weapon. With my setup of wraith+polaris? I hit for 900 to unarmored parts at a combo cross over and 600 to an armored part. It's rather rediculous and it's fast as hell and gains a ton of energy.

Damn >.< I missed that. I ended up killing him way too fast. I have that heavy armor that gives me a boost in damage if I use hammers and I upgraded the matching hammer, ive been beating the absolute bejesus out of everything right up until this last boss Im fighting hahah
