Public Enemy Weapon Pack causing me to be unable to load saved game?

Well today I crashed out of Surge 2 for the first time ever, and then when I tried to continue my current game I got "The save game contains data that is related to downloadable content that is currently not installed Public Enemy Weapon Pack"
As far as I know I have all the dlc? Maybe not? Do I need to download something else?

Hello, that sound strange indeed. Maybe a file got corrupted along the way and makes the save unreadable, could you try the following:

1) Verify game files

1. Run Steam and click LIBRARY.
2. Right click on The Surge 2 > Properties.
3. Click the LOCAL FILES tab and click on the VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES button.

If it doesn't solve your issue, could you send us your save (using wetransfer or a similar service)

The game files checked out ok. I'll try the FAQ to figure out how to send the save. I'm ignorant so would love some help on doing so!

i have dumb question..
do u have that DLC installed?
if yes, try unclick that dlc.. it remove itself and then activate it again.. it install self again

Well, the strange thing is as far as I can tell there is no Public Enemy Weapon Pack dlc...

Same here. Yesterday as I've played I got a hud message "Public Enemy Weapon Pack activated" - just in a randmom moment - and now it doesn not allow me to load my save.

Nope, that was clean exit. Actually it never craches for me.

The only tech issue I ever had - I have to restart game always. On a first run I always have graphical glitches on transparent textures, but after restart they are always gone

I tried this but it didn't help. My save folder (in documents) is empty. Am I looking in the right location?

If you use cloud saves, ity should be in %SteamFolder%\userdata\%steamID%\644830

if you have only single account on PC, steamID will be the only folder with digits, otherwise you have to guess
