What am I doing wrong (Super Skill Gem)

So not doing so hot and not sure what I am doing wrong. I can't seem to do enough damage to beat the 40 turn timer on the only girl I can attack (The Witch I finished the elf girl). I charge up the Super Skill Gem which is supposed to do 500% instant damage but it doesn't do anything. II push the button, I try matching more gems but nothing. Would probably be enough to put me over to win the fight but pretty much rage quitting at this point after losing 3 times with less than 500 hp left.

500% instant damage refers to 500% your normal damage. So if you do 10 damage you'd do 50 damage.

I am not quite sure which button you push... :)

And you can always go back to the Elf girl to unlock new skills. I also never really relied on the whole super gem stuff, except once you have the 'cure' ability for the super gem and the girls start to throw negative effects at you. But in most cases its more beneficial to upgrade the normal skill gems to get the effect out of those.

I believe it is right click to activate super gems.

enderfour is correct. You right-click the gem to activate it's effect.

Another Tip. In the first halve of the battle you should concentrate on gaining rage.

Super Gems are nice, but without the rage to boost your base damage, they won´t hit hard enough.
