Game Not Working

There is an error message saying the game is not able to start and it's missing Mirror.exe

This really sucks, because to get the key you need 2 hours of gamplay -_-

turn off your anivirus protection, sometimes exicutable file gets killed by it.

My advice is never ever turn off your antivirus protection, doing so is dangerous especially with some of the phishing scam links on steam. If you trust the devs game files then its best to exclude the specific file from your antivirus protection detection, that way your computer is still protected and your antivirus will stop removing the game file.

Rather than everyone who buys the game having to feck around with their anti virus software why don't the Devs fix the issue?

I didn't have to turn off my protection before i played this game so yea that's not the answer i was looking for cuz i never have a problem with any other game.... P.s. i turn off protection and still get the error! so that's a no go for me

The error say this: the game has got a update error file missing mirror.exe so yea i uninstall the game the mirror .exe is in file i click on it automatic disappear and then that error pops up

This suspiciously sounds like an antivirus is removing your file to stop it from executing. Sometimes even if you exclude a file from your antivirus and you have windows defender turned on that will stop and delete any suspicious files it finds. Sometimes even turning off your antivirus automatically turns on windows defender which will then delete and guarantee your file... Windows is extremely intrusive in that manner.

Try making sure your antivirus has the file excluded from all detection and scans if you trust the game file (do not turn your antivirus off), and then ensure that the same is done for windows defender if you have it enabled.

If this still fails then the final resort option is to try deleting and reinstalling the game again.

this never happen before now all of a sudden this going on second if it was my virus protection in the first place i would get a message saying that the file is corrupted or a virus simple as that never got any message of any kind the last updated the dev did screw my game up simple as that

i have play 4hrs on this game no problem off and on now all of sudden i can't play the game at all wtf??????? P.s. i have try verify files and installing nothing works is almost like this game just snatch it's owned exe......


P.s. The game.exe was consider a virus and yea my virus protection label as a threat which it's not but still the dev should fix this problem cuz like i've stated before never had this problem until he updated that file! PROBLEM SOLVE!

ı need help my game isnt working

I have the problem, but it only occured when the developers released a patch around the 12th or 13th of November. Now my antivirus detects a file they call a "Heur.Adv.C", and the game won't launch. I sent steam and email, have to wait and see if they try to work with the developer to clear the problem up.

I submitted the file to norton a while ago and it seems that they cleared it up, seeing as norton no longer considers the file a virus when I ran the game. As for other antivirus programs, you have to wait until they fix the issue of the file showing up as a false positive.
