With all the improvements the game just turned from annoying to super fun!
I like the fact that one can play level 1 again and again and gain more credits.
Level 2 is really hard compared to level 1, so it's great to be able to prepare better.
The new credit pickup system... well... I guess it's relevant for a VR game, and it does add some extra to think about while playing. So even though I'm not sure I like it... I kind of like it anyway :-)
I had a few playthoughs where I ended up in a situation where all my weapons had been "shot off" or worn out... This is no fun, as there is nothing really left to do than to crash intentionally to get to game over.
This feature needs at least some sort of status display, so one can realise that the weapons are actually being destroyed slowly... and how bad the situation is.
Also some sort of repair feature would be nice. Perhaps some special credit blocks that need to be picked up?
The supportship is great, and would be able to help in the above situation. But in one playthough it appeared constantly, and in some others I newer saw it. This seems a bit too random.
The new guide on how to build the ship seems fine to me, and seems like a very VR-way to add this information. I can see and read it perfectly, and I have not adjusted any supersampling.
2. The connection block bug is still there and trying to make me crazy! ;-)
Module connections still disappear. Please make this a priority.
good luck!
EDIT: Win10 64 bit user on a Vive with motion controls.
So, something else odd has happened. Earlier I had two connection blocks, 1 power block, 1 engine, 1 wing, and 1 laser cannon (the 2000 cost weapon) and got a Rapid Fire powerup. Once it ended, my laser cannon vanished. Could something else, like damage, have caused me to lose my gun? Otherwise this seems like a bug.
EDIT 2: That said, this is really fun. Now that it's playable I'm having a pretty good time with it!
Thank you for keeping in touch, I appreciate it!
