Help with German Potato Salad
So this is one recipe that drives me crazy because it takes so much prep work. Take two boiled potatoes and cut them into slices then dice an onion (btw I have the chopping upgrade but I still can't get this quite right any tips would be appreciated). Shove diced onion into a pot with a bunch of other ingredients, boil, then drain the liquid and put the onions in a casserole dish, then add the potato slices.

Now I follow all these steps but its the very last one I just can't figure out. Pour 20ml of Sunflower Oil on the dish but I don't understand what it wants me to do exactly because if I pour the sunflower oil over the dish it goes on the onions and potatoes and the amounts get really confusing and when I give it in i barely get 3 stars. All that work and this is all I get

Also the chives not actually staying in the dish is a nightmare, they just balance precariously on the edge

Hey silverbrumbyfan

In this dish you need to distribute 20ml of Sunflower Oil evenly between all ingredients (potatoes and onion). My tip would be to drizzle potatoes before cutting them; for example when something was drizzled with 3ml of Sunflower Oil and then cut into three even pieces then each one of them should have 1ml of Sunflower Oil taste.
Anyway we are still adjusting the recipes and their error tolerance. We are trying to make them doable but also challenging enough. Thank you very much for you feedback!

Ah ok that would explain some things.
So just to clarify, based on what you told me, the amount to pour over would indicate how many pieces you should have?

Not exactly, if recipe says that you need to drizzle with 20ml of oil then you just need to distribute it evenly between all ingredients (that are said to be drizzled in the recipe description) according to their weight.
