Beginner question about warming up and preparing
Hello the game is good but I have questions about preparation and warm-up

1. is it possible to warm up the soup again in the pot on the stove and how do I see when it is hot enough again? Or microwave?

2. How do I heat other food? You're not supposed to use a microwave, are you?

3. is there a better way to fill the soup out of the pot into a bowl, because everything gets dirty for me? Maybe a spoon or a ladle?

4. can fish and meat be prepared beforehand or does it spoil when outside?

5. I'm supposed to fill soup in bowl with 300 milliliters but there's not so much going in. So you're only allowed to use soup plates?

Thanks for good answers.

Hey

1. You can reheat whole soup in the pot, but remember that each time you do that, the soup is losing some flavor. You can put 300ml portion in the microwave but keep in mind that not all containers can fit there, so use something smaller lie casserole for example. Currently you can't see the temperature of heated soup. We will try to resolve this issue in the future.

2. As above, you can use microwave, but make sure that container can fit in the microwave.

3. As it is, pouring from the pot is the fastest way but it requires getting used to it. Many people suggested ladle or some other solution. We will try to come up with some solution for that but first we are focusing on fixing the bugs.

4. Ingredients or prepared dishes won't spoil in this game, but they lose temperature over time (and some of them require to be served hot).

5. Soups in the game generally require plate called 'deep plate'.

Please let me know if this clarifies things for you and let me know if I could help you with something else.
1. but how long do I have to re-heat the soup? I see no indicator? ah ok I will look and buy for casserole to do it in microwave. thx

3. would be great to have a ladle to put it from pot into dish. I try to learn more and practice it to make it better.

5. then it must be a bug in German translation. Cause they wanted me to put soup in "Schüssel" dont know english word. maybe Bowl.

+ new question: I see no Asparagus (Spargel) in the baskets to buy, only have to go to shop. all other things like potatoe or tomato I can see there lying in baskets.

And how can I buy more items of 1 sort, maybe 10 tomatoes?

THX for really innovative great game, so much fun.

Reheating is tricky. If I do that it seems that the time you need until the pot with soup is reheated is short, I think it's enough until the soups start to bubble. But as said it loses taste, so if there is a bigger amount left it would be wise to use small portions and reheat them and not the whole soup.

The german translation is wrong, you should always use the deep plate, Schüssel should be changed to "Suppenteller" or "Tiefer Teller" in the translation.

You find asparagus in the fridge, right side down in the drower.

To buy more than one item just take a pot or a bowl and put the items in it directly while buying.
ah in the fridge, thx i found it.

no i meant many items of lets say salt or pepper?! only 1?

and is there really no othr chance to gwt that 300 ml in the soup dishes? i only get 400-450, its tricky for me.

You could also put multiple items of salt or paper in the bowl and then go with the bowl where you want to have your spices. But I don't see much of a sense here. For tomatoes or potatoes it would be the way to go...

Righjt now you only can take the pot and pour the soup directly on the deep plate. IRL no one woould do that, but there isn't a ladle right now. The dev said that they think about to give us a tool like a ladle in future.
ok so at this moment i only have to practice until new tools come. i will do my best to be careful. also i hate that 10 ml oil or 150 ml sourcream.

and anotehr thing: Whats the difference between the upper/lower Oven and the normal Gas Cooker under my cooking plates? better quality or what?

and also that grill / plate next to the fridge. there i mustnt use Oil for fish. is that better? or difference?

thx for helping me out.

Fun fact, it seems that food will stay at their warm temp as long as it remains on the stove in the pan. Even if it is off.
Found it out when I had some soup left over in a pan.
Next day I get an order for it, and I just poured in in a bowl and it got the same score I did last time xD.
I use the 3 plates i the back of the stove to keep it warm. great.

but which oen shall i use? the upper/under ones or that one next to my stove?

Hey
All ovens are pretty much the same, there are many of them so in later phase of the game you are able to bake multiple things at the same time or when one of them breaks down and you have to wait for the repair.
Griddle / grill plate can be used for frying that does not require any oil. Normally you pour oil into the pan and then ingredients on it and fry it, but in some recipes you can just put stuff on griddle which is more comfortable to use.
understood and let me thank you
Translation question: In the rating screen I see in row "technic" the word UNWANTED in german language. Translated to "ungewollt" ? What does it mean in that case and why isnt it translated?
I guess it means I have a ingredient which is unwanted or what?
Zeriver Jun 10, 2019 @ 8:37am
UNWANTED means that some ingredient or flavor is unwanted in some recipe. Like you are supposed to serve tuna steak but you give to your client lemons instead ;)

And thank you for reporting the translation error, we will try to fix that as soon as possible.

Ah ok, so it must really be named with "ungewollt" in german. thx.
Sorry me again :-((

How can I place many steaks/fishes in my pan? when i click of them they do a tower, haha. I want to place them next to wach other.

is there soecial control for that?

2. And can I make more than a little sauce, only multiply the ingdredients to make 1 liter sauce?

1: If you pick up something you can hold shift, then move your mouse around to where you want it to be. While still holding shift, middle click to drop the item at that location without throwing it.

2. The recipes does scale. If you want to make double, just double everything in the recipe.
Same works if you only want half or 1/4.
