Ukrainian Borscht

This recipe seems just... odd.
You are expected to throw all ingredients, without cutting them, into the pot, heat it, and then "pour the liquid into deep plate"... uhm what?

If you do so, the result will be "chicken broth" and the guest complains about "not enough" of the actual ingredients (no surprise here).

Is this an oversight, or is it a "feature" that players tune the recipes themselves?


I tried blending it all, but that isn't correct either.

Ad chicken and vegetables, salt etc.... boil for 120 sec (even some veg burn) after 120 sec put 300 ml in deep plate I score 4 star for 5 I don't know... is a strange reciep

After being precise with the recipe and blending it after boiling - just like tomato soup - I get good ratings, but it is weird the blending isn't mentioned.

No, I did everything according to recipe, did not blend and got 5 stars. You don't blend borscht irl. Then again, irl borscht does not consist of liquid only.

Exactly. The picture of the recipe seems blended, though.
I wish there'd be a bit more attention to detail here. I mean the game is only about food after all...

Tomato soup also does not look like tomato soup, but a bland pink liquid.
I expect better to be honest.

that seems kind of Buggy atm. Sometimes its enough sometimes you have to Blend it. My Reccomendation: Get the Dish Inspector Perk, check if you get the Score. If not: Blend it up and it should work.

Yea i think they maybe confused it sometimes with Cold borscht, which you Acutally Blend if you like it

For however recipe says, don't remember. Basically until the beetroots are fully cooked.

I always get only 2 stars. I tried about 5 variants. It seems bugged.

Green. I think onion might go a bit red by that time, but that's ok.

Just got the non-blend recipe, and i too thought it was odd. Blended it and it was good. Seems to be missing (sometimes) from the recipe :)

And there seem to be too much veggies in there, but i followed the recipe ...
