Please remove or give us the option to remove ambient car horns
I love having ambient sounds, but the car honking happens way too much and just gets aggravating.

Would be a quality of life improvement to either remove it entirely or give us the option to.

Thanks for the feedback! We have it in our notebook and will discuss further if it's possible.

Take care,

+1 to this suggestion. It gets annoying real fast.

one year after and the devs still haven't address a fix ? honestly this car horn is just ridiculous, it sounds like the guy is driving round the same block over and over and it gets really annoying. besides being very annoying it is not even realistic, if you want to simulate real city traffic at least produce more than one horn wav file and make it random and distant.

Anyways please can you make an option to remove just the horn because setting the ambient volume to 0 remove all the background sound which is also an issue.

Thanks.

I agree with this, car horns just push me to exit the game. It is very annoying, please add a option to disable it.

Whatever happened to this?

Guess this still was never looked at. Man is it annoying.. I'm going to try a different kitchen look like the christmas one and maybe see if there's no honking there. I like the normal look the best but I won't put up with hours of that unrealistically loud honking across the entire motorway. This is a nice apt that's a solid amount of floors up. The honking doesn't come through that loud, trust me. Sure you can still hear it when you live in a downtown new york flat, but in any high end building the soundproofing muffles it quite a bit unless you have the patio door open or something.

The option is in the audio settings in the pause menu. Turn the ambient audio to zero and click "Apply".
