Can't put any pizzas in oven

In the pizza maker simulator, I only managed to put three pizzas in the oven during the tutorial and then for the last pizza it just would NOT let me put it in the oven. I hit the button and the options at the bottom right of the screen flicker as though they're switching to something else for a split second, then go right back to normal and i can't put the damn pizza in.
I ended up just giving the raw pizza out to end the tutorial and hoped it would be fixed when it loaded the next day, but it's still not working :/
I also tried saving and hard closing the game and opening it again, and this briefly fixed the problem, but then a pizza later and I can't put any more in!
Just saving and reloading the save has allowed me to put in a pizza, and then it breaks again...
Edit:
So upon further inspection, it appears that the oven thinks the pizzas aren't gone. I can only cook 2 pizzas each time, one from either side of the oven, before it stops allowing me to put any in. Each time, the one that was cooked previously, that area of the oven can no longer accept a pizza. So i keep having to reload the save to refresh the pizza slots.

Have the same issue. Have you tried pressing 'Q' to "rinse" the owen? That worked for me.
