Relax Mode setting does not work
For me, even when I set Relaxesd Mode to ON in Carreer mode (Blue button), it does not get activated apparently.
My save game still says Relax mode: No after 1 in game week.
I toggled it and nothing. I am aware that it needs 1 day to activate, but for me, it doesn't at all.
I still have timer bars under orders and get punished for late serving.

No one?
Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

Guys, honestly.
Can someone please confirm, that Relax mode is indeed working as advertised
and it's just me who has this issue?

Or can someone tell me exactly how enabling this mode will change the game?
Like in detail. What will happen if I have 3 open orders and I take my sweet time way past the opening hours?
Maybe I'm just too dumb to understand the effect...

Hi, I'm having the same issue but in reverse. I cannot go back to normal in career mode and am stuck in relaxed mode. So the bug must not be so niche. Something in our save files is making it so that the game doesn't think we progressed into the next day maybe?

As far as I know all relaxed mode changes is that it gets rid of countdown timers on incoming orders. If you have three orders in queue there is no time limit so you could spend all eternity screwing around in the kitchen without the day ever ending or the orders going away. It'd be like prep/cleaning phase but infinite.

Relax mode is working, your save file is just not enabling it whenever you finish a day (it should obviously).

I don't know exactly what can cause this but here's what happened in my situation. I started playing career mode on relaxed, got a few days in and felt comfortable so I turned relaxed mode off. Kept playing a couple more days with order timers, game got harder and I wasn't used to it yet so I turned relaxed mode back on at Day 5. Around day 10 I tried turning relaxed mode off again but the timers were too fast for me, so I turned relaxed back on. I worked my way up to 5 stars, max level 20, maxed perks and skills, unlocked almost recipe and its upgrades, got a perfect kitchen setup. I got really good at the game, and since I've been pumping out complex dishes at light speed I was ready to turn relaxed mode off for real this time... but it won't turn off. I am on day 35. Anytime a day ends and I get to see the stat summary there is a sentence that says something like 'you didn't get any skill points due to skipping the day' I don't remember exactly. I get this message even if I don't skip prep phase, fulfill every order and don't skip cleaning phase. As you and I know it says turning relax mode on/off will only get enabled in the next day, but we're definitely progressing thru days without it changing, so the only thing I can think of is that the game thinks we're skipping days or something.

Sorry for the essay lol I thought all the detail might matter. As far as I know all I can do to fix it is to start a brand new save file... which I'm not keen on given all the progress I made in my first save so. Yea. I'll get back to you if I figure anything out.

I mean I would like to play more, but those timers stress me out and cause me to lose reputation, which hinders progress...
Sad that is still doesn't work for some reason. I still have those timers, no matter that i do with that option.
I can play with timers on. I'm fast enough for that.
But often times I want to relax BUT still progress.
So sanbox mode is also not what I want most of the time. :fluffystore_purin2:
