Not everyone can cook advanced dishes and not every dish has to be advanched to begin with. It's important to note however that it's those who take the first step and dare to try and cook something they haven't made before that learn and succeed (as goes with mostly anything).
Trial and error is the key. The dish you're cooking might and probably won't turn out perfect on your first go but that's okay; you'll do better next time!
Start with something simple and switch to more advanced dishes (if you wish) as you learn and perfect certain cooking skills.
Key point; Don't be afraid to take the first step and try to cook something new you haven't made before.
Good luck!
