Cooking Simulator
Career mode without time limit?
I really enjoy progressing in the game and cooking the dishes people order, but the entire time limit thing stresses me out a lot, even more when I'm still not used to the main game (I play cakes and cookies way more atm).
Idk, I think that would be a nice option to have in the game

Late to the party but It's a game.....People should have the option of turning the timer off. This is NOT real life so stop taking it so seriously. IT'S A GAME!!!!!! +1

This makes sense, but as more of a casual player, I like being able to take my time with the dishes and focus on precision and detail. I like the career mode progression and the casual style of sandbox but there's no way to mix the two.

If you really want the career mode without time limits you can do as some others have already mentioned previously. Download a program called wemod and turn off the time limit within career mode.

Yeah, but I shouldn't have to use a third-party software to change what is probably a simple true/false statement.

You don't have to? Stick to sandbox, or get better at the game. Simple.

You literally missed the entire point. The point of turning the timer off in career mode is that you get random meals but are able to make them at a leisurely pace, while in sandbox you don't get the same degree of randomness with the menu items. Plus, you don't get ratings so you can't see how to improve.

I get the point. You're not very good at career mode so you want the developers to make it easier which in turn would defeat the whole challenge of career mode in the first place.

Let me rephrase that:
He just wanna play the way he wants and devs are too lazy to implement an option to disable timers.

PS. As long as it's an option noone gets hurt.
How exactly are the developers lazy? It's their game and they released career mode the way they want it to be played - a challenge.
But for a select few the game is "too hard" and request the developers change things for them because they don't want to take the time to actually improve at the game - That's lazy.
I realise it's a request and no one will get hurt, but for such a small minority of the player base asking for the change I doubt it will ever happen.

That's where you're wrong and missing the whole point of attracting casual gamers.
10,500 + copies sold on PC with positive reviews not sure they are that worried about casual gamers. Maybe the introduction of sandbox mode is for the casual gamer.
+1
Those timers drove me off from Base-Game Campaign and towards the more open Pizza and C&C DLC

Timers for challenge are fine, thats why everybody talks about OPTIONAL settings.
Its not a L2P-thing for most - especially when the engine has problems with too many items spawned at once and starts slowing down...
shelter has timer too, but there it does not matter if you don't finish in time
