Throwing away pots/pans

It would be AMAZING, if somehow, the devs could add in a little icon above a pot or pan that tells you there is still liquid/grease/water/etc from a prior order so that you can effectively dump it in the trash without throwing away your entire pot/pan. Why does the game let you throw away good pots and pans and not let you retrieve it or at a very worst say "Do you really want to throw away a pot/pan?" Just food for thought for a quality of life improvement.

When a pan is dirty you're supposed to clean it with water

Don't dispense with dirty pots in the trash, take it to the sink and dump liquids in it. Solids can be picked up with a free plate and dropped into the trash.

You can tell if a container has a liquid in it or not by mousing over it before picking it up.

If there is a liquid to be found you'll see either the liquid's name or the title "Mixture" if there are several ingredients in the mix.

Not sure if you're aware of this tip: You can click on a trashcan while holding a container and any liquids or items in the container will transfer to the trashcan. This also "cleans" the pot or pan you're using.

Pans and pots do tell you if there's anything inside them.
Same goes for trays and cutting boards (cutting boards don't matter).

Hovering reticule over the pan will say (mixture 10 ml) or something.
It will also tell about solid content like salmon steak on it etc...

You can discard it completely by taking the pan or pot and clicking on the trash bin with it in hand.
Alternatively, if you're fighting liquids, take a ladle, it will pick out all of the liquids, as long as it fits in the ladle.
