No, I have them in the baskets, pick up the timer and set to the required time and then click the buttoms on the Frier and lower them. The timer goes off i pick it up quickly and turn off and then raise the donuts out of the Frier. So your saying lower them in first and then pick up timer and set it? I can try this just didn't think it world be accurate setting the timer after the donuts were lowered into the Frier, they would cook longer then the request time or is that not the case? Thanks for your reply, sounds like i am not doing things correctly.
Hit E while holding the timer to set it up
Set your time
Come out of the timer menu by right clicking
Turn on the cooker but have your finger over E ready.
As soon as you turn on the cooker hit E quick and then again which will start the timer, set the timer down to see how much time you've got. This way there shouldn't be much difference between cooking and setting up the timer.
I've had this happen to me before too but all i did was cook them a little more till they turned brown like they should
I will try this thanks again, I also tried cooking them for short periods of time like 15 seconds each time and keep opening to check and they never turned golden color and eventually were black and i had to toss them. I also noticed that when hovering over any pastry or anything you cook for that matter there is no indicator telling you if the item is cooked or not cook. They should add an indicator so at least you can look at it and know if it is actually cooked.
Yaj i saw that and never bothered to check it out, never seen one for baking pastry only meat, i thought it was for meat and seeing we are cooking pastry i never used it or even paid it any attention.
Timers are your best friend in this game, if you set the correct time then the food is cooked correctly. If you want to be 100% sure just over cook for a couple of seconds just to make sure ;)
Thanks, haven't had anyone complain yet so it must be cooked.
