Can you not reheat things?
Hello, I am new to the game.

I noticed that when I was making tomato soup the recipe made me make a lot more than what was required. I figured I could save the pot with the leftovers and just reheat it and serve as another dish the next time it came up, instead of having to make it all from scratch again. So I put it in the microwave on highest temperature for like 1 minute, but the feedback from the customer still said it was too cold. Is it at all possible to reheat dishes in any way?

You absolutely can reheat but the microwave isn't very reliable. What I tend to do is buy one of the smaller pots and store soup in them rather than the larger pots so I can keep using them. Put the pot back on the stove and heat for around 2 minutes, when you reheat you should see the green bar is in the middle so you want that to be full when you take it off the stove.

Ok cool, thanks.

Do you know if it would it work if I just used the same pot in which I made it originally? I tried this for a short duration of time, but I was afraid the game wouldn't really understand what I am doing and that the soup would then be overcooked instead (as it may conclude the dish has been ccooking too long, and make it spoil). I don't think there were any changes or any green bars when I did it.

Yes you can use the same pot (I just use the smaller pots for storage purposes), as far as I'm aware soup doesn't really overcook, I've left it on the stove for a while and its fine

Just be aware that you can't keep reheating it, so you can make the soup on Day 1, reheat it on Day 2 and at the end you should throw away whats left if anything and make a new pot for Day 3.

I keep reheating my soups over several days (until the pot is empty) and there are no problems whatsoever. Even if the green bar is full and you keep reheating it, there will be no negative consequences :)

You can't keep reheating soup (apparently) but that doesn't mean you can't pour some soup into a separate container and heat that,

I have reheated soups with no problems and even pour it into previous makings of that soup. To know if a soup is hot, there's like a red outline around the green bar which I just let sit for around 30 seconds before serving it
