Create own menu / decide the recipes I wanna use ?!

Hey I play career mode and want to get much experience (actual 7,000) and so I unlocked a lot of ingredients, but now i am at a point where its getting too fast, too chaotic and I still miss an option (like in main game) to decide which recipes I want to offer my guests. I am the chef and i want to decide which pizzas I will create and sell to them. Now the point is its just too much of all. My preparation times get higher and higher and i see that its no fun anymore for me. Like in normal career mode, i liked Stars 1-3 but after that it was no game anymore it was a hard chaotic game and only work. Can we slow down the unlocks a little bit or can you please let us decide / create our own MENU ?

read the announcements ;)
they test some things in the current beta
and if these tests are good then they can add that create own menu patch
maybe they have to test that patch first, also.
but in current game and beta, there is no own menu setting
written in the patchnotes :)

1-3 stars is basically the tutorial. I made 8-10 dishes per day and had the food critic come over every day at these stars. It was every other day after that. Took me 9 days to complete career mode. I believe that you just gotta git gud.

Having a way to prep cut ingredients and a place to sort them would be nice. Also maybe add an optional Day off (Sunday) to really spend time cutting and prepping a full fridge worth of stuff.
When I worked in restaurants, we would constantly prep items. Essentially have a mound of already prepped ingredients. :)

Any news on the custom menues? Have stopped playing because of the issue with too many different dishes. Would love to decide what I want to serve.

But just in the cooking version. Pizza DLC will not get a custom menu in the patch.

was never meant that dlcs get it too and makes no sense in that case.

Of course it would make sense. As long as you have limited space for all your ingredients it would even make more sense for the DLC than the regular cooking game ;)

no you dont have that hard time factor in kitchen and pizza dlcs
the custom menus are made to get along better with the time in career
we wished we could get the menus cause of career modes to handle it easier
if you speak of a free game where you just want to cook your menus, then its ok ;)

The same day the Pizza DLC released, people complained that there are more ingredient to prepare than space to store them, so it would make sense to manage that problem with a custom menu.
You have to have every ingredient you unlocked prepared and in a container. But there is not enough space for every container in the ingredient rack so you end up switching containers in and out every time you need an ingredient that is not in the rack.
You also have to have every dough prepared that you unlocked.

So yea, a custom menu would make a lot of sense for the dlc too ;)

thats not a problem of the custom menu, its a space / room problem, which you have not in career mode of normal game. ;))

in baking dlc you have all time you want and not that much ingredients and way more space for all those things. they should work with the containers in pizza dlc, yes, but its not a problem with the custom menus.

I made this thread and got so many +1 and opinions and all were meant for the normal hard career mode. that was the point, and that we get now. thats the bottom line. we got what we wanted. no need to complain again.

and I guess that was the last larger update cause of VR version. have fun with what you got now and test the beta branch. ;)

First of all - yes, the custom menu ist good and im happy that its finally coming since it was more than overdue. Should have been there from the beginning. So i dont complain about the custom menu itself.

And yes, its just a space problem in the Pizza DLC. I basically said that and i said what the super simple solution is. Its a custom menu. Something that should be there from the beginning too. Or a comically enormous ingredient rack lol.

Thats what im complaining about. The shortsight of the developer.
