Question about dosage and quantity
Hello, please when a recipe says for example : "300g potatoes - 6g salt"
... then it's 6g of salt on each 150g potato ? Or 6g for both, 3g each one ?

And please i feel actually when it's says cut a "120g onion in 15g parts", it's really boring to have to keep a calculator alongside.
Please would you consider an update to precise for example : "cut a 120g onion in 8 parts (15g each)"
It would be so much easier !!!!!!!!!

300g potatoes need 6g salt
if 1 potato is 150g
then it means 3g of salt of each potato

and then you could cut them into pommes frites

120/15 should not be too hard to calculate in own brain ;)

Thanks for your answer about potatoes/salt dosage !

But really i don't expect in a cooking game to constantly have to do mental arithmetic or keep a calculator close by, especially when i've to hurry to prepare 3 different dishes in 10 minutes ! :csgohelmet:
but you always have to calculate

Cut 120g Onion in 8 Pieces => you have to calculate how much one piece has to weight (15g) because they must be equal (+/- 1g)
Cut 120g in 15g pieces => calculate how many pieces you must have (8)

I understand what you talk about but its simple math and no rocket techniques :))

I always try to spice my ingredients in one piece. and then cut. or if you have to make a sauce and then drizzle it onto the meat. drizzle it onto the whole meat and then cut it into pieces. and another thing is, what a developer told me once. if the recipe tells you, bake it 60 seconds, then you really have to bake it 60 seconds and not look on the green bar. amount is spice and cooking time is really important.

No but because if the game tells me that i've to cut 1 onion (120g) in 8 pieces, then i'll just grab the knife and cut this onion :
- horizontal
- vertical
- diagonal
- diagonal reverse
and here i've 8 equal pieces of 120/8 !

If the game just tells me that i've to cut 1 onion of 120g into pieces of 15g, then... then i've to calculate in my head 120/15 and it's annoying. So i just grab the windows calculator but it's annoying too.

And thanks for the cooking tip ! :D:
I said the weight must be equal........
or you have to reach a weight. not only number of piece.
its not counted in parts/pieces.you cook in grams not in pieces ;)
I prepare many pieces and throw bigger ones or too small ones in trash.
and make some dishes if i have time

you`re welcome, sometimes a littl tricky but if you play career mode, you will learn how to handle the kitchen. sandbox is boring for me. have fun.

edit: So if you are accurate with your cutting, you dont have to do mathmatics, so you dont have a problem haha, but to be honest: its not hard to calculate 60/4 or 120/8 or those things.
