Cake won't bake..?
Hi, I'm new to the game overall and started on the cake/cookie DLC. I'm trying to make the medovik and have done everything up to baking the actual cake. When I put it in the oven, it doesn't do anything even though I've set the temp to 130C and the time to 4m 50s like the cake pan says, the oven comes on bright and lit up, and when it goes off the cake isn't done. I've put it in for extra increments and even set it to another 4m 50s and it still isn't baking what so ever and this seems like a bug?

Could you save the game right before putting the cake in the oven and send us the savefile?

discord.gg/cookingsimulator or support@bigcheesestudio.com

Where is the game save file?
In one of those locations:
1. Documents/Wastelands-Interactive/CookingSimulator
2. %appdata%/LocalLow/Wastelands-Interactive/CookingSimulator
3.(Game Installation Folder)/Save/Wastelands-Interactive/CookingSimulator

Can't anymore, I've already over ridden it. I just stopped making it, wouldn't even work in sandbox mode. Weird thing is all the other cakes and cookies etc. bake, just not the medovick. I may try again tomorrow

Had this same problem. I'm not sure if I layered it properly; before adding the sour cream to the filling, the 'medovik filling' was a dough ball. After adding the sour cream and mixing, it was a liquid. In the round cake pan, I added: 1 layer of medovik dough, poured half the filling, 1 layer of dough, the rest of the filling, 1 layer of dough. I was left with 1.1L of leftover medovik dough. Put it in the oven at 140 degrees for 4m50s, the light came on and after the allotted time, the cake came out unbaked. Sending save game file to email address above.

Found the answer on another thread. It's necessary to add the sour cream to the filling at the same time as the whole cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. This makes the filling a 'dough ball' and it's easier to layer in the cake pan. Baked according to pan and came out perfectly.

EDIT: the resulting cake is titled "homemade", not medovik, so I guess something is still off. It also doesn't have the 'honey' hashtag attached to it.

Hey, was this issue already solved? I'm having the exact same problem

Update: I just didn't use the last ingredient on the list, and it ended up with the "medovik" name, although it looked uncooked. I think that's it

I've come in to say I had the same issue making the Medovik cake. First recipe and put it in 3 different ovens to try and cook it for the time at the temp and it never cooked, thermometer never moved. Resulting pastry was "Homemade"

Same thing with Pumpkin pie

I've had this same issue with a lot of the cakes. Even following the recipe. It will bake in some pans correctly, and others it won't. I've had cakes not bake no matter how accurate, I had tiramisu crust suddenly change to dough, and pans changing their times and temps randomly (same pan, same time, just different mouse hover). There's been a lot of glitches lately it seems. I verified my files and everything so I think it's a bug.
