Right now it's best use is for making french fries since so many people suggested that it's was extremely difficuly to cut the potato right.

You can but it's not going to always give you the perfect proportions for other recipes

I just can't figure out how to use it, there's no button or anything. I put lemon inside but there's nothing coming up, what am I supposed to do?

The thing I get it to cut the best is apples. After testing a bunch of potatoes for french fries, I was getting portions ranging from 14g-27g, which is extremely wide of a range, so I don't think it works great for fries. Apples on the other hand only ranged from 16-21.

I like using the auto cutter for duck broth soup, French fries, and pumpkin soup. Maybe even more once I unlock more dishes

You bring your item over to it, put it in the top part, then click the blue button and it cuts it up for you. However, I've noticed that only 4 things can be used without customer complaining about cutting technique: Strawberry and garlic (for recipes that want halves), potato for fries, and pork tenderloin when you need to cut it into 25g pieces.
