Anyone willing to make a guide for cakes?

I don't know about anyone else but i'm really struggling with the hashtags.

Spicy - How? I use peppermint etc but all I get is #aromatic and then when I put icing on it changes to #sweet or something else.
Fit - Again how? I see fruit etc have #fit in their hashtag other page list, but just how many do you need to override the other hashtags?
Bitter - No idea how to do this one

It seems impossible to get the right tags, as soon as you put a topping on one of them goes away and it changes so you can't decorate it once it's got the right hashtag? It's becoming really depressing not being able to decorate because you lose all the tags you got from baking.

Also are we supposed to throw random ingredients into the dough to flavour it? I've been trying that with orange and peppermint but it just gives me #aromatic and nothing else.

What's the criteria for #masterpiece? and professional?

But it doesn't make sense to be afraid to decorate your cake, it's really depressing when you have like the nailed a hashtag and then you put frosting and this frosting hashtag makes the other one disappear. And you only will know this after the ♥♥♥♥ is already done :/

And the only solution seems to be go to do discord and say the same thing again... I've given up playing it now. I made ~20 different cakes and all of them I couldn't decorate because i'd lose the hashtags I took forever trying to get (like mixing tons and tons of peppermint for #spicy even though all I ever got was #aromatic...) then wiped out by any frosting.

Not to be rude or anything, but I don't think that will really help...

You guys said the dlc is suppose to be relaxing, but I get a lot of anxiety just thinking about decorating a cake when I want to fulfill the hashtags. I really feel like you should separate the cake & frosting hashtags instead of keeping them together.

It doesn't really make sense for a coffee cake to magically not taste like coffee when you put a little bit of frosting on it... I really want to decorate but I can't because of this... I really like the dlc and I want to love it, but I can't when it's so frustrating!

ps. please add sour & bitter recipes, because that's all I get in the game with the daily hashtags :'(

I'm pretty sure they are fully aware of all the bugs and issues people are addressing, but it would be nice to post them some place in a thread, I have had many issues myself. to list one right now is i used the filling gun on the cutting board (dont ask me why) and the darn thing got impaled in there pretty hard and froze, I couldn't even press escape, and had to force close the game, could walk around the bakery but couldn't interact with anything lol

In my experience it's better to just ignore the hashtags completely and just bake whatever takes your fancy.
I only use the hashtags to help me choose what to make but I treat them as just guidelines.

I don't even care about these hashtags anymore, I'm making random recipes and making them beautiful in my own way, these guided recipes all look the same.

Thanks for all your feedback. We have a number of updates scheduled for Cakes and Cookies. We'll be also working on improving the balance of the hashtags :)

It is also worth mentioning that you can use custom icings/frostings because they don't add any hashtags to the cakes :)

spicy is mostly cinammon if you put icing on the cake use some cinammon dusting to make it more spicy cinammon sticks in the batter also helps. Dont be pooped if you batter doesnt give you the spicy tag you can do that mostly with dusting! but i agree some sort of ginger bread spice would also be nice.

Not sure if you still play but I just bought the game and I agree that the # system is super fun but could be very much improved in game.
