Special orders?
Read through the tutorial but I have no idea how these work. It said to click the "i" for info about the order but all I see is that it needs 1 layer. I have no idea what they want or what kind of toppings they want. just that they want 1 layer of... something I guess

So I've done three special orders & from what I can see, you just have to meet whatever requirement they request (& be sure to pay attention to how many servings they need, that got me the second time around!). The rest is up to you. For example, my first special order, they only requested something that was #sweet. As long as you make a cake that's sweet & has enough servings to meet the requirement, you're golden. My third was much harder, they requested 24-60 servings, two different colors of frosting, & sports-themed toppings. As long as your cake meets all the requirements they want, then you've done your job.

Hope this helps!

Ah thank you! I know nothing about baking so I assumed there were other things besides cake that had layers, didn't realize they were always cakes

They may eventually request something else, but I do agree there needs to be a bit more guidance on this. For example, I got a request yesterday for something #sweet, serves 20 people, then it just said 'boy' & 'advanced decorating'. So, I made a two-tier chocolate cake, blue icing, piped designs around the top, added some sprinkles, & then topped it with a boy figurine & some sports balls. The review was 'horrible cake' & I got 0 points. What?! Definitely could use a little improvement on this aspect.

I like how they define how decoration is advanced, proffesional etc. "The more decorations = higher skill.
So just put a ton of decorations on your cake, then you're an expert :D
