hopefully you can help me
I finished making gazpacho and served the meal. My food processor container was on the table of the default apartment kitchen. When I grabbed the container the game would not let me interact with anything (ie put it down, open cupboards) and when I tried to "throw" the item it stuck in the air - until I let go of the key and it would come back to me like I was holding it but still the same issue. I had to force close.
:(
Same with me, game freeze after deliver menu opens :(
Anyway I've encountered a few issues. The one that most irks me is the flying pastries! It's kind of funny the first few times you go to place smaller baked goods on display and several of them explode all over the place. I once had a cupcake shoot across the room and strike my icing container knocking it onto the floor! Sometimes they launch with that much force! I hear a thud and they go flying. I'm not sure what factors cause this issue, but it's only occurring with the smaller items. It wouldn't be so much of a bother if it didn't happen so frequently. Once a pastry decides it wants to fly I have to try and place it over and over again until it finally sits in place. Sometimes I have to just advanced control it over the tray and drop it. I get kind of like a zen feeling from the baking, and then the explosion of pastries from the display trays gives me a heart attack.
A more serious bug I experienced was on one day I ended early and the time flew to 6:00, but then didn't close the shop. I was just left there unable to progress time. Luckily reloading a previous save got me out of that jam, but I was kinda sad with the lost progress. This only happened to me once though.
Next we have the multiplying dough extruder attachments. Those little black donut and churro rings appear out of nowhere piled high on the counter next to the fryer. I must have tossed at least 30 of them so far and only bought 2 at the beginning. They seem to breed like rabbits when I look away.
Next we have some object collision issues. These are common and I imagine they're kind of to be expected in a game like this. Small bits of chopped ingredients sometimes fall through the bowl or the counter into one of the drawers. I have an entire drawer of strawberry pieces right now. These are easy to deal with but worth mentioning I think.
Also some things refuse to be placed in a container. This isn't so much a bug as a desperately needed feature. Throwing out those donut attachments one by one was a pain. If they could just be rounded up into one of the big red bowls so I could chuck them that would be great since this needs to be done on occasion for the bug I mentioned earlier. The other thing I would love to put in a bowl is decorations. If I want a flower on every cupcake I have to run back and forth from drawer to counter like a madwoman. Or maybe if I could place the tray on that space above the drawers below the frostings?
Next I think you have a misunderstanding about lactose-free baked goods... If the milk is in dough and then that dough is cooked you're good to go. No lactose issues with baked goods containing milk as an ingredient. There's no goody in this expansion that doesn't get cooked by oven, pan, pot, or fryer. I'm lactose intolerant myself and only the cheesecake would worry me if it wasn't cooked. The lactose free tag is kind of silly in my opinion, especially since it will count anything that uses butter. Butter is fat, not milk guys, no lactose. I once got an order for something that was lactose free and it just about drove me nuts.
I'm basically done my rant here. It comes from a place of love I swear! A few little things that would be nice include: the measuring cups not taking a century to fill up, larger scoops, the ability to label drawers (I'm begging you on this one(Where did I put that stupid pan?!)) that big center tray on the display you should be able to sell stuff on, More variety of appearances for dough and finished baked goods. I think everyone has mentioned the lack of visual variety in the baked goodies, but I want my dough to be tinted as well. If it weren't for the slight blue of the blueberry filling, and red for the cherry filling all dough would look alike. I have to hover over them one by one until I find what I want in my dough drawers. Customization could really be expanded on here. Making my baked goods have the sour tag is difficult. I haven't found an ingredient that has sour as it's main flavor. Maybe it exists and I just can't find it, but still I want t make my own filling and make my own icings and toppings! Just coloring icing is okay, but we need to be able to make our own flavors.
Honestly if you devs took the time to read through this long whiny post then kudos to you for that alone. I love this expansion and can't wait to see where it goes from here! I hope some of this feedback was a bit helpful.
I've got the same problem. It's not only the cutting board. I had the same problem with plates, backing forms... doesnt matter. Pls fix the problem!
All the other games work fine though.
Is there any way to fix this or should I refund?

Where is the output log?
1. When you experience a bug, either close or ALT+TAB the game, just make sure you don't restart the game as this will overwrite the output log (unless you are aiming to reproduce the bug/crash)
2. Paste this path into your files explorator: %appData%/../LocalLow/Wastelands Interactive/CookingSimulator/
3. There you should find output_log.txt
FWIW, Career Mode works fine, but I don't know what I'm doing yet, so I'd love it if I could make Cooking School work...
Thanks for any help you can give me!
hopefully there is a solution to this, because the game has been on my wish list since launch day. Was finally able to buy it over the weekend :)
