Burgers are a nightmare to assemble
We need a way to lock ingredients to one another for making burgers and the like. Because right now I basically just fire everything on the plate in a heap and 5 star it..but it's sort of immersion breaking lol.

I know right? Let's just assume the waiter assembles it for you before serving it.

Actually some higher end restaurants serve burgers like this. The assumption is that the customer will put it together in the order that they prefer. I've seen it many times where it comes out laid out on the plate this way.

But the picture of what it's supposed to look like in game doesn't reflect that. So if that's the way they want to "explain away" the jankyness then they should change the picture lol.

Just went trough the recipe, i just put everythings in the plate as the recipe list in order. Its doesnt looks like a burger at all lmao but i got 5 stars.

Things i've learn too much with my work, keep ur mouth shut and execute order, its always work

If I ever went to a restaurant that wanted me to assemble my own burger I would never go back again. I get the physics engine is a limiting factor for assembling the burger, though the fact that you get 2 top buns is a bit annoying. I agree we need some way to lock stuff in place on the plate - it irritates me to no end when I plop some stuff on the plate to finish and order and half bounces off onto the floor. I wonder if the physics used to be able to cut up the ingredients / utilize different cooking methods with them is constraining the ability to keep stuff organized on the plate (eg: locking it in).

I enjoy the game, 5 starred a bunch of recipes - but some of the 5 stars I have gotten just aren't satisfying - because the ending dish is just a mash of components that looks like they were just thrown on the plate and put out for the order (which, to be fair, they are as it stands). I don't konw that it is possible for them to change that though - I really feel like its a catch 22 for being able to slice stuff up like we can in game right now

It seems like it would be pretty easy to have a "lock" key on plate.

Well that's you, mate. Plenty of people do. Enough that it exists and plenty of restaurants have no trouble staying in business :)

It's the only thing that bugs me about the game also lol

I use the skewer things that put the burger together so it actually looks like the sort of burger 99% of people who can't afford top end food actually gets...

Good idea about making it so you can lock the items to the plate so they don't move that would be handy
