Although this is a good idea, I fear for how much freedom you will give your backers. Please don't do a POE Memorial/Backer NPCs v2

I backed the first game which has been an ongoing bugfest that corrupts save games like nobody's business. Hard pass on getting money from me again.

I admit to always being bewildered by responses which seem to assume Owlcat is a bunch of idiots who've learned nothing and are going to do the same things a second time, when there's no real logical reason to assume that.

They're crowdfunding a second time, they're making a pathfinder game a second time and they're going to have backer benefits a second time... Let us not forget the backer quest Deal with a Devil which is widely considered as the worst quest in the game.

Here is hoping that this won't have the painfully annoying kingdom management mechanic. I love Kingmaker except for that, and you can't just use auto-manage because it's too important to leave alone, but too annoying to actually deal with with the time requirements that come with it. If we can get a Pathfinder module that is just story and exploring I will have to instantly buy.

The Kingdom Management wouldn't have been as bad if it could be accessed outside your territory.

I have that fear that you give in and make combat turnbased. While playing Kingmaker i always wondered how anyone can play the game if every little fight takes 30 minutes. I would not have touched it with turn based combat.

It's long enough as it is. Maybe that's the reason why sometimes just 15% of players have some late-ish game main story achievements.

The Kingdom management was ok but it get's messy later on. Massively less generic standard events would help it. You don't have nearly enough advisors for all of it anyway. In other words: with a bit of streamlining, yes.

Should have put aside enough of the money from KM to fund this one. Or delivered on some of the things the community wanted from the beginning - a Core-Stats setting, a Turn-based setting, proper documentation of various "gameplay settings" and how your kingdom management mechanics work. Too bad you didn't. On the plus side, at least I know better than to give you any money until after I see the finished product this time.
