Resist Negative Energy
Is there a spell or condition that causes you to resist negative energy (aside from being undead)?

I've got nok nok with heart of ira and gears rule, which should make him immune to all death effects. This is telling me negative energy isn't a death effect. The only roll is a will save, which he obviously is going to fail.[spoilerJaethal's[/spoiler] got crit scythe bonus and a scythe that channels negative energy every time crit hits, and the two of them together produce insane damage in a short amount of time. She also doesn't seem to be immune to heart of ira, which I think could be solved with magic resist.

Any buffs or charms that could help me out here?

I dont know any buff or charm that could help, but I would have an idea: invest a level in cleric and choose focussed channeling. But I must say, I'm no expert so... hopefully it functions.

Some artisans may produce equipment with built-in negative energy resistance.
  • Unnatural Life, a robe produced by Sharel, provides Negative Energy Resistance 10.
  • Breastplate of Afterlife, a +1 breastplate produced by Varrask, provides Negative Energy Resistance 10.
  • Death Crusher's Full Plate, a +4 full plate produced by Dragn, provides Negative Energy Resistance 10.
  • Mark of the Guardian, a +5 mithral full plate produced by Dragn, provides Negative Energy Resistance 30.
  • Divine Support, a belt produced by Sharel, provides Negative Energy Resistance 10.
  • Honor of Death, a ring produced by Mim Wobblegander, provides Negative Energy Resistance 20.
Furthermore, the Skeletal Salesman may sell a Light Shield of Lesser Negative Energy Resistance during Troll Trouble for 4,160 gold, or alternatively a Padded Armor of Greater Negative Energy Resistance after Coronation but before War of the River Kings for 16,155 gold. The Skeletal Salesmen however is a random encounter. Your only other option is Death Ward, a SL 4 Alchemist/Cleric/Inquisitor/Paladin spell or alternatively a SL 5 Druid spell. For the record, Death Crusher's Full Plate lets the wearer cast Death Ward 2/day, and the Warding Helmet hidden at the River Blade's Camp confers a constant Death Ward effect unto the wearer.
Originally posted by "https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Death_Ward":
The subject gains a +4 morale bonus on saves against all death spells and magical death effects. The subject is granted a save to negate such effects even if one is not normally allowed. The subject is immune to energy drain and any negative energy effects, including channeled negative energy.

This spell does not remove negative levels that the subject has already gained and does not protect against other sorts of attacks, even if those attacks might be lethal.
