Paizo considers them ranged weapons, but the devs can certainly not implement it that way for balance reasons. In this case it seems like an oversight though, it's a bit of an obscure rule although it's what makes fast bombs powerful. At the very least two weapon fighting should certainly work.
So its a bit unclear, they seem to be a ranged weapon, but they are not in your weapon slot which I think causes the problems. I do know you get the -2 to hit from Rapid Shot, but I don't believe it gives you an extra attack.
But not including a respec option make all these bugs & weird behavior a big slap in the face. Build your alchemist around fast bombes to discover it doesn't work at all...
Rapid shot apply the malus but don't work.
Point blank add +1 to hit & dmg.
Deadly aim apply the aim malus but don't affect the dmg (intended?)
Pretty obscure what work with bombes or not, should be listed in the description wich feat work with them and desactivate in rol calculation if they don't.
In the character > martial ability, the bombes stats are not accurate (don't take into account increased dmg / levels, 1000 range etc...).
Can't use any bombs discovery with grenadier direct blast. That make direct blast outshine the bombs discovery (better AOE, full dmg an all target).
Does anyone was able to throw more than 1 bomb/round with fast bombs? (base attacks or using other weapon feats).
Should ranged weapon feats work with bombes & fast bombs? Only point blank and precise shot do something. Rapid shot & deadly aim apply the malus on hit but dont change anything.
