Quest One Thousand and One questionable stories

Quest stuck on the " Tell Shaynih about the Storytellers vision" I told her the truth about the spear and that her ancestor was a moron and after the dialogue the quest does not update and this particular phase does not flag as completed.

I already finished the part where I had to deliver a letter. I had these two tasks from her simultaneously and told her the truth both times.

Encounted this problem too.

I read a theory that it's because I talked to her in the village and asked her what's wrong this time, and she gave me the spearpoint in the village. According to that theory I'm supposed to wait for her to come to the capital for an audience.

So I reloaded an hour old save and told her the vendor's reaction without asking her what's wrong. Now, after a month of doing other things, she hasn't come for an audience yet.

Update: that theory was incorrect.

After waiting for her to ask me about the spear during an audience, the quest still doesn't advance when I tell her about it.

I can't even get to that point. I'm literally at the "Talk to Shaynih'a" part at the very beginning and it doesn't progress, no conversation options either.

Tell her either truth or lie, then select "Not now, may be later" & "I have to go". Then the conversation will be over and quest will be updated. But do not talk to her immediately, wait for her to come visit you at the throne room later, then go and talk to her.
