Castle of Knives, Perception checks

I've made it to Castle of Knives. I have Jaethal in my party and she keeps "seeing" things but I can't find what she's spotting with her 59 perception. There's an audible DING. The party pauses ala my settings but Nothing. Hit the TAB button, nothing glows. Search the area, mouse over everything, Nothing. This has happened 3 or 4 times.....often enough I gotta step away , it's infuriating, then ask here. Any help out there?

Successful perception checks not revealing anything!

Today I had two successful perception checks on the "Castle of Knives" Map, but there is nothing new to find for me in the area. One was near "Kamala the Phoenix" and the other in the south near to a spider corpse.

Anyone else have that problem?

yes. i know I have encountered the one from "Castle of Knives" as well, with nothing revealed or able to find afterwards.

spider corpse pops up and nothing is there, its likely a bug

Think i had that other one to and was just like oh well

99.9% of the perception checks aren't amazing anyway so yeah sucks but you didn't lose much

Castle of Knives 45 Perception Check? *Spoilers?*

So I'm exploring around the Treant area to the south. I found this dead spider corpse to the west of them and my character hits a 45 Perception check but I have no idea what's been discovered. I can't seem to find anything. nothing highlighted or anything.

Is this a bug or something?

Yes i think it's a bug but since there is no notification of what you have actually found it's hard to tell for sure.

There is a other one north.

Hm interesting. I found the one up north you mentioned, another perception check with nothing showing up. At one point I thought it was just this tiny worm I found like, "Great perception me! Seeing that tiny worm."

There are at least three bugged perception checks in the castle of knives zone. One near Kamala the Phoenix, one near the spider-corpse, and one to the north.

So hopefully whatever the items are aren't too important cuz I'm about to give up finding them. Gonna hit the nearest vendor to empty out my bags, rest up and come back to it. Maybe run past these spots once more.

Yes it's most likely a bug...

This bug was reported a year ago. Multiple times. It received no attention or resolution.
I'm well within my damn rights to revive even a dozen threads if necessary for the devs to fix an obvious bug in a game released nearly three years ago.

This just happened to me. Googled and here I am. Still an issue but glad it sounds like I'm not missing anything.
