[Turn-Based] Why are touch spells so often just getting wasted?
Happens 50% of the time I use a touch ability like healing or touch of fatigue etc. Seems like even when I'm perfectly within range, sometimes the spell just whiffs. With characters like Regongar, it means a fully wasted turn. I think the touch spell mechanics need to be changed during Turn-Based play.

Ordinarily, it's cast>spell consumed>movement>activation.
I believe with Turn-Based play enabled, it should prioritise movement before even attempting the cast, and simply not bothering to cast and waste a slot if the character isn't in range.

I'm genuinely concerned that there might be bugs concerning touch range at times, as well. As I've mentioned, I'll walk into touch range just to have a healing spell whiff for no reason.

No, no, I'm not saying they *miss*, I'm saying they don't occur *at all*. They just stand there, having done or attempted nothing.

It's not a range problem, they usually just don't work in turn-based mode :)

It is a known bug I wrote about even in one of the first betas. It seems Owlcat are not willing to fix it. It is very annoying.

I wrote about it, for example here. Please make also a bug report using F11 in the game.
