TWF with torch equipped

If you have one of your everburning torches equipped, it causes that character to fight with it; even if they do not have the Imp. TWF feat. It also overrides monk unarmed damage, despite the fact that monks should be able to make unarmed attacks even with a weapon equipped or both hands full (they have elbows and feet, after all).
How are you supposed to even use the torches then? What do you use for light in darkened areas?

Alot of casters have a light cantrip, and all asimars have a halo that radiates light. Valarie also has a Lantern that gives light. If u realy have no other way to get a single one of theas things its probably not uresonable to have one person use a torch insted of his normal weapon/ dualwield with it. Gl with the game anyway
